Tugboat rubber fenders are designed as primary fendering system to protect tugboats and push boats from damage during berthing operations.
Types
Its round shape is flexible for ship-to-ship operation with different type vessels. The max length can be 20m with the joined plug. It’s fixed on by one longitudinal chain through the center of the fender.
Canvas straps or chains also are used to supplement by the grooves. These fenders are often used on the bow in combination with Keyhole, M or W fenders.
Installation
Tugboat rubber fenders are available in a variety of sizes and shapes, including cylindrical, keyhole, M, and W shapes. They can be pre-drilled with mounting holes if desired and pre-curved to match the radius if desired..
